Frequently Asked Questions

How many treatments do I need?

It really depends on the type of issue and how long it has been outstanding. Normally for Acupuncture 10 treatments are good enough to make a make a change to a long-standing issue. But you will see changes within 5 treatments. Acute issues may be treated is only a few treatments, again depending on the condition. The aim is to get you better as soon as possible.

Tui Na Clinical Massage - can treat most pain issues within a few treatments

Tui Na treatment is also great for general bodywork. Some have a weekly treatment and others a monthly treatment for health maintenance.

With your first treatment you will be given advice based on your assessment of your condition.

What is the focus of a Tui Na treatment

Tui Na has a focus on the Muscles, Chinese Channels and Acu-points, which are massaged and manipulated. Tui Na is normally applied on a clothed body and is a combination of soft tissue, deep tissue, and with some joint manipulation. But we do not do any cervical high velocity techniques. We do over time look to correct posture and joint function.
