Acupuncture

Acupuncture has a rich history that dates back over 5,000 years! It has been used all this time to treat many conditions. It can be used effective in maintaining good health and treating a huge variety of pathological conditions.

From Musculo-skeletal conditions to Internal and emotional issues.

Acupuncture treats pain and balances the health of mind and body.

TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) treats the balance of one’s bodies and the vital energy or life force, which is generally referred to as qi or chi.

Qi passes via what are called meridians throughout the body and its balance or imbalance is largely responsible for whether the body is functioning properly or not. Therefore, diagnostic understanding of the body’s flow of Qi or lack of, is an important aspect of TCM treatment.

Concepts and Theories of Traditional Chinese Medicine Diagnostic methods applied to Traditional Chinese Medicine

  • Looking,
  • Asking,
  • Palpation,
  • Tongue Diagnosis
  • Pulse Diagnosis

TCM Syndrome identification of the major syndromes. Theory and Principals of Yin & Yang. Then the patient is treated with very fine needles, plus sometimes Moxibustion (an herb which is burnt to warm the needle or points on the body).

Types of Acupuncture we use -

TCM Acupuncture - Traditional Chinese Medicine, as used in hospitals in China. Used to treat many conditions. Pain relief, Stress, Emotional Issues, Immune system and much more.

Korean Hand Acupuncture – a micro system where extra small needles are use on the hand to treat the whole body. This can include Moxibustion.

Master Tung’s Acupuncture - Chinese Family system of an Acupuncture a revolutionary approach to acupuncture great for pain and internal medicine problems.

Chinese Auriculotherapy - a micro system of the ear, points of the ear are simulated with a small ear seed to help the patient’s condition without needing to puncture the skin.

Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture - Stimulation of the body's natural production of collagen. This combined with Facial Tui Na and Gua Sha.

You can have a single treatment for some simple conditions or after a course of treatments has been completed. Most conditions require around 10 treatments to impact the condition.

Treatments plans - Acupuncture is normally a course of treatments to start with in order to treat a condition. You can book a block of 5 or 10 treatments if you want.

30 Mins Treatment for most injuries can be within a 30 Min Session. Price $45
60 MinutesTreatments can be 60 mins for a combination of Acupuncture with Tui Na. Price $85
90 MinutesTreatments can be 90 mins of Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture. Price $125
